I’m Rain, currently the publisher/editor/photographer/designer/everything-gal at Desert Messenger, Quartzsite’s FREE Community Paper since 2008. I’m all over Facebook and X (Twitter) @QuartzsiteRain but pretty old school, too. In this newsletter, I plan to share all those articles, thoughts, ideas and suggestions left out due to limited space of newsprint.
I HAD announced I was going to retire the hard copy in May, 2024, but I have decided to keep going! So, I will continue to publish Desert Messenger News on the third Wednesday of each month year-round!

About me….
So, three years ago, I had two strokes that changed my life in very unexpected ways. I love to share what I’ve learned in my recovery process. I do still have neuro-fatigue, so my newsletters may be sporadic.
As a Quartzsite small business owner, a Founding Member of Quartzsite Area Chamber of Commerce/ former Marketing Director, I’m passionate about helping small businesses become more successful.
